OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
I. GOD We believe
that there is only one true, living, and eternal God and that the Godhead is revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
1 John 5:7 - John 15:26 - Matt. 28.19
II. THE BIBLE We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the Old and New Testaments; the inspired and infallible Word
of God and therein is found the only reliable guide of Christian faith and conduct. 2 Tim. 3:16 - Ps. 119:59,60
- Acts 17:11
III. MAN We believe that God created man
in His own image to bring Him honor through obedience, and that when man disobeyed, he became a fallen and sinful creature,
unable to save himself. We believe that infants are in the covenant of God's grace and that all persons become accountable
to God when they reach a state of moral responsibility. Gen 3:6-24 - Gen.
1:27
IV. SALVATION We believe that salvation (regeneration, adoption, sanctification, justification,
and redemption) has been provided for all mankind through the redemptive work (life, death, resurrection, ascension, and intercession)
of Jesus Christ, and that this salvation can be received only through repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ
concerning His death on the cross and His shed blood. We believe that the shed blood of Jesus stands alone as the soul cleansing
power for man and that baptism should follow as soon as the new convert has been prepared scriptural and spiritually.
Acts 19:3-5 - John 3:16 - Titus 3:5-7
V. ASSURANCE AND ENDURANCE We believe
that those who confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart Romans 10:8-10, while abiding in Christ have the assurance
of salvation now and forever. 1 John 5:10-12 - Heb. 9:15 - John 3:16
VI. CHRISTIAN DUTIES We believe that Christians should live faithfully by serving in and through the
local church, praying diligently, witnessing earnestly, showing loving kindness, giving as God prospers, and conducting themselves
in such a way as to bring glory to God while attending the services of the local church. Heb. 10:25 - Matt.
28:19,20 - Matt. 10:6-8
VII. THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, the fellowship of all believers, and that its members have been called out
from the world to come under the dominion and authority of Christ, its Head. We believe that a local church is a fellowship
of Christians, a part of the Body of Christ, voluntarily banded together for worship, nurture, and service. 1 Cor. 1:9,10
- Acts 2:42 - Rom. 15:5-7
VIII. ORDINANCES We believe that
baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances instituted by Christ to be observed by Christians only. We also believe that
the biblical mode of baptism is immersion following a person's genuine conversion and confession of faith in Jesus and
that participation in the Lord's Supper should be open to all Christians. Acts 8:36-38 - 1 Cor. 11:23-29 - Acts 2:41-42
IX. THE LORD'S
DAY We believe in the sanctity of the Lord's Day, the
first day of the week, and that this day is to be observed by worshiping God, witnessing for Christ, and ministering to the
needs of humanity. Acts 20:7 - 1 Cor. 16:1.2 - Mark 2:27,28
X. LAST THINGS
We believe in the physical rapture of the church according to I Thessalonians 4:13-18. We also believe in the personal return
of Jesus Christ, and in the bodily resurrection of the dead. We believe that God will judge all mankind by and with Jesus
Christ; that He will reward the saved with eternal life in heaven, and that He will banish the unsaved to everlasting punishment
in hell. Rev. 1:7 - Rev. 20:11-15 - 1 John 2:25
